Our story
We started with one restless dog and a plot of Nebraska ice.
K9 Motion Ko began the winter our own high-drive shepherd mix stopped getting his walks. Sidewalks were sheets of ice, the yard was frozen solid, and a dog built to work spent his days rearranging the living room. A motorless slatmill changed that household in a week — not because it wore him out, but because it gave him something to do that he actually controlled.
Once neighbors started asking to borrow it, the answer became obvious: load the equipment up and bring it to them. Today that mobile studio pulls up to driveways all over the metro, and the reaction is the same every time — a dog who figures out the rhythm, then refuses to get off.
Mission
Give every dog in the metro a safe, consistent way to move.
Weather, work schedules, mobility limits, reactivity — there are a hundred honest reasons a dog doesn’t get enough movement. Our job is to remove every one of those barriers, one driveway at a time.
The dog decides
No motor, no forced pace, no pushing through stress signals. Every session ends on a good note, even if that means five minutes.
Honest recommendations
If a dog isn't a fit for slatmill work, we say so and point you toward a better option. Trust matters more than a booking.

Sanitized equipment, water, traction check, and session notes every single visit — the same standard for a first-timer or a regular.
